Growing Together
SCC Youth Ministry is our MS/HS student ministry that includes students from 7th grade through 12th grade. The three principles that we have built our student ministry around are to be Christ-centered, purpose-driven, and mission-minded. We want others to look at us and see that what we do and what we say are all borne out of our relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We meet weekly for worship, games and Bible study, as well as participate in activities throughout the year and serve through several mission opportunities. We want to invite you to come and check out SCCYOUTH!
SUNDAYS
9:00am-9:55am | Sunday School
Sunday School is an opportunity for students to grow deeper in their knowledge of the word of God. Focus is on diving deeper into the scriptures and to pray for God to speak throughout the week.
10:00am-11:15am | Church Service
The students always gather with the rest of the SCC family for a wonderfully moving time of worship and to hear the word of God.
5th Sunday | Family Sunday
We believe that families experiencing church together is an important tool of parent to child discipleship. The kids will go to church with their families instead of Children’s Church. When you arrive at SCC, your child will be given a bag with sermon notes for their age group, crayons, a pencil, clip board, and activity pages. When church is over, simply leave the bag and clipboard in your seat. The rest is yours to take home.
We will either have special refreshments between Sunday School and Worship Service or a fellowship dinner following the service.
WEDNESDAYS
Wednesday Night | 6:30pm -7:30pm
Wednesday Night is our mid-week gathering where we will worship together, play some seriously fun (and sometimes crazy) games, and through a Biblical lens, look at various topics that our students struggle and deal with on a daily basis. Also, you never know.…good food might just randomly show up during the year. We would love for you to come and be a part of our Wednesday Night!
